The Student Aircraft Builders has two established teams, the Build Team and the Composite Team. The Build Team focuses on educating students to interpret aircraft kit blueprints and construct a full-sized, sheet-metal plane, when the Composite Team focuses on exploring the potential of composite materials in the aviation industry, while building a full-sized, all composite aircraft.
The Build Team is currently working on a Zenith CH750 STOL aircraft, with plans to build a Sonex-B aircraft afterwards, while the Composites team is focusing on a Pro-Composites Vision. Click on the aircrafts to learn more about the project!
