February General Meeting – Mid-End of Feb
The next GM will be in the middle/end of February, likely after spring break. What better way to spend an afternoon than listening to team updates, hearing important news, and hanging out with your fellow SAB squad! New members are always encouraged to attend, even if you are not a part of a subteam yet. More info to come!
EAA Hangar Meeting – March 2
Our friends from the local EAA chapter (http://www.29.eaachapter.org/) are coming to the hangar to take a look at the Zenith project and discuss all things aviation for their monthly chapter meeting! This is a great opportunity to network with retired University faculty and staff (and those from the Institute of Aviation) and other locals who have a deep aviation background and interest. Transportation logistics will be worked out in the coming weeks, but please mark your interest if you want to go so we can get an idea for numbers. This event will take place on March 2nd. Engineering Open House – March 10
Get ready, for the most wonderful time of the year is upon us! Thats right, on March 10 is UIUC’s 97th annual EOH event! SAB will be featuring the classic candy airplane demo as well as a riveting demonstration. We will be looking for as many volunteers as possible to help man the stations and run the event smoothly, so keep your eyes peeled for the sign-up sheet that will be sent out soon. If you absolutely cannot sign up, be sure to stop by to check out everything EOH has to offer. It’s going to be LIT!
